Lawn Programs
We offer two comprehensive lawn programs, The Natural State Lawn Program and The Essentials Lawn Program. Each program is suited to your particular type of grass using cutting-edge organic fertilizers and weed control products available on the market today. At Natural State Horticare, we strive to minimize chemical inputs through the application of our Premium Organic products. Lawn Fertilization
Both The Natural State Lawn Program and The Essential Lawn Program fortify your lawn with the necessary organic products to fertilize your lawn. These products build soil health without the use of short-lived, water-soluble nutrients. The Essentials Lawn Program features four fertilization applications per year and The Natural State Lawn Program includes seven applications annually.
Lawn Weed Control
Both The Natural State Lawn Program and The Essentials Lawn Program utilize weed control applications. Our pre-emergent weed control product works to keep weeds from surfacing in your yard. We also utilize a post-emergent weed control product to treat any weeds that we find in your yard.
Lawn Pest Control
Our Turf Pest Prevention Program consists of one application of product to control unwanted bugs and protect your lawn from almost all turf-damaging pests for the entire season. Our product is registered by the EPAand won't harm beneficial organisms such as earthworms and honeybees. Your lawn will be protected from pests such as:

Lawn Fungus & Disease Control

Core Aeration
Aeration will benefit almost every aspect of your lawn by allowing the necessary air, water, and nutrients to reach the root system of your grass. It is recommended to aerate your lawn twice a year.

Lime Treatments
Soil pH is the measure of acidity or alkalinity of the soil. Soil pH affects a plant's ability to take in nutrients and the activity of soil microorganisms. Our PH Adjustments are designed to bring your soil to the proper pH levels through the application of a specialized lime-based product. Lime is used as a natural soil treatment and can help restore the pH levels of your soil to the correct levels.
Organic Compost Treatments
Our Organic Superfood Jumpstart is a one-time application that will replenish soil minerals and nutrients. This OMRI-certified, premium pelletized organic compost helps previously-damaged areas of your grass recover quickly and helps establish new grass seed or sod. This organic compost treatment will help your lawn produce a rich, deep color and provide a sustainable food source for biological activity.

Fire Ant Control
Our season-long, granular treatment is designed to effectively control fire ants with the most effective products without compromising the safety of you and your pets. Our Fire Ant Control is applied in April to the entire property including landscape beds. Any colonies present during the application receive a targeted formula to eradicate the colony. This treatment kills any existing ant colonies and creates a barrier to prevent other colonies from forming throughout the year. If any colonies are present after six weeks, we will come back and spot-treat them for free.
