When will we apply our landscape bed weed control treatments?

We won't let that happen with our Ornamental Bed Weed Control Program that runs year-round. This program includes 5 treatments per year. All five treatments will consist of detailed spot spraying for any weeds and "edge spraying" to prevent turf grasses like Bermuda from creeping into mulched or rock areas. In addition, we include a specialty pre-emergent product during the first and last treatments to prevent the germination of new weeds.
- January/February: We spread a granular pre-emergent weed control throughout your landscape beds in January or February. This treatment is designed to prevent weeds from growing in your landscape beds. This treatment includes spot treatments and "edge sprays" to eliminate existing weeds in your landscape beds.
- April, May, & July: Our team will apply spot treatments and "edge sprays" to eliminate existing weeds in your landscape beds.
- September: Before the winter sets in, we apply another round of pre-emergent weed control to ward off winter weeds. This treatment includes spot treatments and "edge sprays" to eliminate existing weeds in your landscape beds.
Our Proper Mulch Policy
We ask that everyone on this program please abide by our "Proper Mulch Policy." Ornamental Bed Weed Control is priced and designed to work in tandem with proper mulching practices, not a stand-alone cure for weeds in landscaped areas. Not following proper mulch protocol requires a substantial increase in product use and time spent applying said products that are not accounted for in the initial pricing. Pricing is contingent on proper mulching practices. Additional expenses may be incurred should it be noted that labor and product were required due to a lack of proper mulching practices for two consecutive treatments.
