1. Turn off the water at the meter.

2. Set the irrigation controller to OFF to prevent valve activation without pressure.

3. Carefully remove the RPZ/Backflow Preventer, protect its threads with foam, and store it safely on-site, typically in the garage.

4. Siphon and remove remaining water from the RPZ risers to prevent freeze damage.

5. Seal the drained risers to keep debris out while the RPZ is stored.

• Winterizations are $85

During Start-ups, pattern adjustments are included at no extra charge. Simple repairs, like nozzle replacements, will be done on-site (parts billed separately). Complex repairs requiring diagnostics, significant digging, or costly parts will NOT be performed during the Spring Startup or Winterizations. Instead, an estimate will be provided, and repairs will be completed upon approval.
