We carefully select our products to work in the “real world,” where we don’t control mowing schedules and irrigation routines. Unfortunately, many other companies choose products based solely on cost, which may not perform as effectively under real-world conditions.
Does Mowing Shortly After a Fertilization/Weed Control Treatment Affect Results?
No, wait at least 1 hr. (or the specified re-entry time designated on the product label), and mowing will have little to no impact on results.
🌱 Granular Products – Small round bead-like granules settle quickly at the soil level beneath the grass canopy.
💧 Fast Absorption – Liquid nutrients and herbicides are fully absorbed within an hour or less.
✅ Proven Results – We’ve never seen mowing affect our program’s effectiveness; over time, you’ll likely agree!
Tips to be On The Safe Side:
💦 Light Irrigation – Wait 1 hr. before running the sprinklers a few minutes post-treatment to "water-in" products.
🍃 Don't Bag Clippings – Assuming you're mowing frequently enough, let the clippings fall naturally to keep any remaining product on the lawn. Modern mowers mulch clippings into tiny bits, reducing visible clippings. As clippings decompose, they act as compost, improving soil health.
Can I Reschedule Treatments Around Mowing Days?
With hundreds of clients and hundreds of different mowing schedules, it would be impossible to coordinate service around each one. 🚗💨 You can imagine the logistical nightmare of zig-zagging across Central Arkansas!
Our First-Come, First-Serve Policy
We operate on a mutual “First-Come, First-Serve” policy to ensure the best results for your lawn treatments.
⏳ If We Arrive First or have applied one within the last hour, we ask that mowing be delayed until the recommended re-entry time (1-3 hours) has passed. Check your "Upcoming Treatment" emails for specific details.
🚜 If You or Your Mow Crew is already in progress when we arrive, we’ll move to the next property on our route and return before leaving the area.
